Kooth is built and run by Xenzone, a company founded in 2001 who have been pioneering online counselling from it's early days.

We employ staff rather than sub-contract, so that our counselling staff can be properly managed and supported. This also means that our web development team works closely with counsellors to ensure that our products are easy to use.

We have run the kooth service since 2004 and each year we invest in enhancing the service by improving the web site for users and workers, and providing training and support to our staff

All of our counsellors are professionally trained qualified therapists managed by a UKCP accredited psychotherapist. Xenzone is an organisational member of the BACP.
